Abstract
A composition including: (a) conventional fabric softener components; (b) magnesia (MgO); and (c) at least one member of the group consisting of cationic polyacrylo-nitrile and alkylamine ethoxylate. A related method of manufacture is also disclosed.

A composition comprising:
- (a) conventional fabric softener components;
- (b) magnesia (MgO);
- and
- (c) at least one member of the group consisting of cationic polyacrylo-nitrile and alkylamine ethoxylate.

A method of manufacture comprising:
- (a) preparing a pre-mix of magnesia (MgO) in water with a dispersant;
- and
- (b) adding a cationic polyacrylo-nitrile and an alkylamine ethoxylate and said pre-mix to a fabric softener to produce a magnesia enhanced fabric softener.
Magnesia (MgO) for use as a fabric treatment in conjunction with fabric softener.
