Abstract
An ink contains a coloring material that contains a first resin having a glass transition temperature of at most 0 degrees Celsius, a second resin having a glass transition temperature of at least 60 degrees Celsius, a cation-based polyethylene wax, and water, wherein the first resin contains a solid content of 0.5 to 3 percent by mass based on a total amount of the ink and the second resin contains a solid content of 5 to 15 percent by mass based on a total amount of the ink.

An ink comprising:
- a coloring material;
- a first resin having a glass transition temperature of at most 0 degrees Celsius;
- a second resin having a glass transition temperature of at least 60 degrees Celsius;
- a cation-based polyethylene wax;
- and
- water,
- wherein the first resin contains a solid content of 0.5 to 3 percent by mass based on a total amount of the ink,
- wherein the second resin contains a solid content of 5 to 15 percent by mass based on the total amount of the ink.
