Abstract
Provided is a manufacturing method for a glass article, the manufacturing method including a melting step (S1) of generating a molten glass by heating and melting glass raw materials (Gr) corresponding to raw materials for a glass article, in a melting furnace (10). In the melting step (S1), the glass raw materials (Gr) are heated and molten through combustion of fuel (FH) containing hydrogen and with electrodes (38) arranged in the melting furnace (10), and a water vapor partial pressure (Pp) in the melting furnace (10) is set to more than 80% of a total atmospheric pressure (Pt).

A manufacturing method for a glass article, the manufacturing method comprising a melting step of generating a molten glass by heating and melting glass raw materials corresponding to raw materials for a glass article, in a melting furnace,
- wherein, in the melting step, the glass raw materials are heated and molten through combustion of fuel containing hydrogen and with electrodes arranged in the melting furnace, and a water vapor partial pressure in the melting furnace is set to more than 80% of a total atmospheric pressure.
