Abstract

Embodiments described herein relate to an apparatus that includes a creel assembly that is configured to support a plurality of spools that each store an electrically conductive wire. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a coarse pitch assembly that includes a plurality of coarse pitch combs, where two or more of the coarse pitch combs are provided at different horizontal planes. In an embodiment, the apparatus further comprises a fine pitch comb and a compression roller. In an embodiment, the apparatus is configured to feed the electrically conductive wire from each spool in the creel assembly to the compression roller, and the electrically conductive wire from each creel is configured to pass through the coarse pitch assembly and the fine pitch comb before reaching the compression roller.
