Abstract
A dishwasher appliance includes a wash tub that defines a wash chamber for receipt of an article for washing. The dishwasher appliance also includes a track assembly coupled with a ceiling of the wash tub. The dishwasher appliance further includes a rack coupled with the track assembly. The rack is slidably positioned within the wash chamber and configured for movement along the transverse direction via the track assembly.

A dishwasher appliance defining a vertical, a lateral, and a transverse direction, the dishwasher appliance comprising:
- a wash tub defining:
- a front opening;
- a wash chamber for receipt of an article for washing;
- a track assembly coupled with a ceiling of the wash tub;
- and
- a rack coupled with the track assembly, the rack is slidably positioned within the wash chamber and configured for movement along the transverse direction via the track assembly.
A rack assembly for a dishwasher appliance, the rack assembly comprising:
- a track assembly coupled with a wash tub of the dishwasher appliance, the track assembly comprising:
- a rail directly coupled with a ceiling of the wash tub;
- and
- at least one extension member slidably coupled with the rail;
- and
- a rack coupled with the at least one extension member.
