Abstract
A display device and an operation method thereof are disclosed. A method for operating a display device, according to at least one embodiment of various embodiments of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: if a connection of a first external device is recognized, configuring the display device to control the first external device through an input means; outputting a video through a display; checking a status of the video to recognize a connection of a second external device; and configuring the display device to control the second external device through the input means.
Claims14
A method of operating a display device, comprising:
- when a connection of a first external device is recognized, setting the first external device to be controlled via an input means;
- outputting a video through a display;
- recognizing a connection of a second external device by checking a status of the video;
- and
- setting the second external device to be controlled via the input means.
A display device comprising:
- a display;
- and
- a controller configured to control the display, wherein the controller is configured to:
- when a connection of a first external device is recognized, set the first external device to be controlled via an input means,
- control the display to output a video,
- check a status of the video to recognize a connection of a second external device, and
- set the second external device to be controlled via the input means.
