Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a clothing treatment apparatus and a drum manufacturing method. According to an embodiment, provided is the clothing treatment apparatus that includes a drum comprising: a cylindrical part; a lifter part that has a long axis in the front-rear direction and protrudes toward the inside of the cylindrical part as the cylindrical part is bent; and a recess part that is formed in a lifter periphery constituting the periphery of the lifter part as the cylindrical part is bent. The recess part is formed in at least a portion of the region between a first position and a second position on the lifter periphery, wherein the first position and the second position are on opposite sides of the long axis of the lifter part.
