Abstract
A battery pack according to the present disclosure includes: a plurality of battery modules each having a sensor member configured to detect gas or heat; a pack case including a wall frame that has a gas venting path provided therein to communicate with the battery module and surrounds the battery module; and a venting path cooling unit configured to cool the gas venting path by causing a cooling medium to flow through the wall frame based on a danger signal generated from the sensor member.
Claims15
A battery pack, comprising:
- a plurality of battery modules each having a sensor member configured to detect gas or heat;
- a pack case comprising a wall frame that has a gas venting path provided therein to communicate with the battery module and surrounds the battery module;
- and
- a venting path cooling unit configured to cool the gas venting path by causing a cooling medium to flow through the wall frame based on the basis of a danger signal generated from the sensor member.
