Abstract
The present invention can provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst showing high NH3 purification performance at cold start after hydrothermal endurance. The exhaust gas purification catalyst disclosed here includes a base material, and an exhaust gas purification layer located on the base material. The exhaust gas purification layer includes a molecular sieve containing substantially no Si, and a catalytic metal. The molecular sieve containing substantially no Si is metalloaluminophosphate whose framework is partially substituted by a metal other than Al.

An exhaust gas purification catalyst comprising:
- a base material;
- and
- an exhaust gas purification layer located on the base material, wherein
- the exhaust gas purification layer includes a molecular sieve containing substantially no Si, and a catalytic metal, and
- the molecular sieve containing substantially no Si is metalloaluminophosphate whose framework is partially substituted by a metal other than Al.
