Preparation Method of Super Absorbent Polymer

A preparation method of a super absorbent polymer comprising the steps of:

• forming a hydrogel polymer containing a cross-linked polymer obtained by cross-linking polymerization of a water-soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomer having an acidic group in the presence of an internal cross-linking agent (step 1);
• drying the hydrogel polymer to prepare a dried base resin (step 2);
• and
• primary pulverizing the dried base resin and classifying the dried base resin into particles equal to or larger than a standard diameter and classifying the dried base resin into particles smaller than the standard diameter (step 3);
• obtaining a hydrated super absorbent polymer using a surface hydrating solution containing water on the classified base resin equal to or larger than the standard diameter (step 4);
• and
• secondary pulverizing the hydrated super absorbent polymer to obtain a super absorbent polymer (step 5),
• wherein the standard diameter is determined within the range of 300 m or more to 850 m or less.
