An aggregate is provided which comprises: a vital sign monitoring sensor body comprising at least one sensor and a carrier for supporting the vital sign monitoring sensor body. The carrier comprises a supporting member configured to support the vital sign monitoring sensor body on the carrier. The aggregate further comprises a connecting member comprising a first connecting surface and a thereto opposed second connecting surface, wherein the first connecting surface connects to an attachment surface of the vital sign monitoring sensor body and the second connecting surface is configured to adhesively adhere to a patient's skin.
