Cord end piece for attaching a decorative element

A method for mounting and/or dismounting a decorative element on a cord end, the method comprising:

• fixing a cord end piece on a cord end, wherein the fixing connects the cord end piece permanently with the cord end, and wherein the cord end piece comprises:
• a sleeve, wherein the sleeve has a front section and a rear section,
• wherein the rear section is configured for being permanently connected to a cord end;
• and wherein the front section has a mounting mechanism;
• wherein the mounting mechanism is configured, such that a decorative element may be mounted and/or dismounted repeatedly;
• and
• mounting and/or dismounting a decorative element on the cord end piece, wherein the decorative element comprises:
• an ornamental element, wherein the ornamental element is configured to visually up value a cord end;
• and
• a mounting device, wherein the mounting device is configured to repeatedly mount and/or dismount the decorative element on the mounting mechanism of the cord end piece.
