Abstract
A mobile kiosk self-checkout (SCO) system is provided to as a mobile self-checkout store. The mobile self-checkout system includes a cover around a SCO kiosk, where the cover has a portion that is configured to expose the SCO kiosk to a user so the user can use the SCO kiosk. The system may have smart shelves and be configured to manage lighting for the system and protection of the system from environmental conditions.
Claims20
A mobile self-checkout system comprising:
- a frame around a self-checkout kiosk and configured to:
- house the kiosk, protect the kiosk, and secure the kiosk to the frame;
- and
- a cover around the frame, wherein the cover is configured to fully enclose the kiosk and comprises a portion that is configured to be removed to expose the kiosk to a user, wherein the cover is configured to control light to the kiosk so that one more cameras of the kiosk function properly.

A mobile self-checkout system comprising:
- a cover configured to enclose a self-checkout kiosk, wherein the cover has a portion that is configured to expose the kiosk to a user, wherein the cover is configured to move from a first position to a second position to protect the kiosk from environmental conditions outside of a store, wherein the cover is further configured to secure and house:
- a battery configured to power the kiosk;
- and
- a networking system configured to connect the kiosk to a network.
