Connector and connector production method

A connector comprising:

• a base having a hole penetrating in a thickness direction;
• a hook including a shaft connected to the base and a folded portion folded from the shaft, the hook and the base defining a hook space penetrating therebetween in the thickness direction;
• and
• a spring connected to the shaft, wherein:
• the base, the hook, and the spring are integrally molded using a resin material,
• the spring includes:
• an arc-shaped curved portion that overlaps the base in the thickness direction and is arranged along an edge of the hole;
• an extension portion extending to connect one end of the curved portion to the shaft;
• and
• a cover connected to the other end of the curved portion, and
• the cover is movable between a closed position, in which an opening of the hook space is closed, and an open position, in which the opening is open, the opening being defined between a distal end of the folded portion and the base.
