Abstract
The present invention provides a medium composition containing a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase inhibitor for promoting production of a virus carrying a gene of interest, when culturing virus-producing cells into which the gene of interest has been introduced, a medium composition for promoting production of virus or virus-like particles when culturing cells that produce the virus or virus-like particles, and the like.

A medium composition for promoting production of a virus carrying a gene of interest for culturing a virus-producing cell into which the gene of interest has been introduced, the medium composition comprising a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase inhibitor.
A method for producing a virus carrying a gene of interest, comprising a step of culturing a virus-producing cell into which the gene of interest has been introduced, in a medium comprising a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase inhibitor.
A method for producing a virus or virus-like particle, comprising a step of culturing a cell that produces the virus or virus-like particle in a medium comprising a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase inhibitor.
