Abstract
An immunomolecular assay provides an internal control for use in immunomolecular assay such as dual-recognition immunoassay or proximity ligation assay. Such internal control includes a synthetic peptide of the following formula (I): R1—Z—R2 (I), where Z is a spacer consisting of 1 to 3 unnatural amino acids, and R1 and R2 are two different peptide moieties, where a first peptide moiety of R1 or R2 includes a Lys tag and a second peptide moiety includes a His tag.
Claims16
A synthetic peptide of the following formula (I)
- R1—Z—R2 (I)
- wherein
- Z is a peptide spacer consisting of 1 to 3 unnatural amino acids,
- R1 and R2 are two different peptide moieties, wherein one peptide moiety of R1 or R2 comprises a polylysine tag and the other peptide moiety comprises a polyhistidine tag.
