Aerial work vehicle

An aerial work vehicle that can accommodate a worker in a basket provided at a front end of a raising/lowering boom and is capable of travelling, raising/lowering, and slewing operations, the aerial work vehicle comprising:

• a vehicle body frame including a hydraulic unit, which supplies hydraulic oil to each operated unit provided in a vehicle, and a main counterweight, which provides a stabilizing mass for a tipping mass that acts on the vehicle;
• a raising/lowering unit that is mounted on the vehicle body frame and is supplied with hydraulic oil by the hydraulic unit to raise and lower the raising/lowering boom and move the basket supported at a front end of the boom to a desired height;
• and
• a travel unit that supports the body frame so as to be capable of slewing and travels on a running surface,
• wherein the travel unit is switchably combined with one of:
• a wheeled travel unit in which connecting axles for holding wheels are detachably connected to first connecting portions provided at intermediate positions on a front axle and a rear axle disposed on the travel chassis;
• and
• a crawler-type travel unit in which track frames, each of which supports a drive wheel and a driven wheel on which a crawler is suspended, are detachably connected to second connecting portions provided on side surfaces of the travel chassis.
