Kitchen towel roll

Abstract

A kitchen towel roll is provided that keeps basis weight within a prescribed range without excessively increasing it, and achieves a soft tactile feel and firmness while preserving strength and water absorption amount. The present disclosure relates to a kitchen towel roll obtained by bonding, with glue or water, sheets having an emboss pattern imparted to one or both of two plies, laminating the sheets to form a two-ply kitchen towel sheet, and winding the kitchen towel sheet into a roll, wherein: a basis weight of one ply of the kitchen towel sheet is 16 g/m2 to 27 g/m2; a dry MD-direction tensile strength DMDT and a dry CD-direction tensile strength DCDT are 600 gf/25 mm to 1500 gf/25 mm, a ratio of the DCDT to the DMDT (DCDT/DMDT) is 0.3 to 2.5; bending resistances in both the MD and CD directions are 4.5 mN to 22.0 mN; and a water-absorption amount per unit area is 330 g/m2 to 600 g/m2.
