Organizer wall panel assembly and mounting assembly

A wall panel assembly comprising a plurality of panels, each of the panels comprising:

• a) a panel upper end extending horizontally when mounted, and a panel lower end extending horizontally when mounted and spaced below the panel upper end;
• b) a panel rear wall extending from the panel upper end to the panel lower end and having a wall engaging rear surface;
• c) a panel front wall spaced forward of the panel rear wall and having a front surface opposite the wall engaging rear surface;
• d) an upper connection structure proximate the panel upper end, the upper connection structure having a fastener receiving portion configured to receive a fastener for mounting the panel to the wall;
• e) a lower connection structure proximate the panel lower end, the lower connection structure having a covering flange extending downward from a covering flange upper end to a covering flange terminal end;
• f) a first cavity for receiving a mounting portion of a first slatwall accessory, the first cavity having a first cavity opening extending parallel to the panel upper end and adjacent the upper connection structure, the first cavity opening bounded at a first cavity lower end by a first cavity bottom wall extending rearward from the panel front wall;
• and
• g) a second cavity for receiving a mounting portion of a second slatwall accessory, the second cavity having a second cavity opening extending parallel to the panel upper end and spaced vertically below the first cavity opening, the second cavity opening bounded vertically at a second cavity lower end by a second cavity bottom wall extending rearward from the panel front wall and at a second cavity upper end by a second cavity upper wall extending rearward from the panel front wall and spaced vertically above the second cavity bottom wall;
• wherein the second cavity opening divides the panel front wall into:
• a front wall first segment comprising a first section of the front surface, the first section of the front surface having a first section vertical extent extending from the first cavity bottom wall to the second cavity upper wall;
• and
• a front wall second segment comprising a second section of the front surface, the second section of the front surface having a second section vertical extent extending from the second cavity bottom wall to the covering flange terminal end;
• wherein the first section vertical extent is equal to the second section vertical extent;
• wherein the covering flange of a first panel of the plurality of panels overlies the fastener receiving portion of the upper connection structure of a second panel of the plurality of panels that is mounted to the wall and is coupled to the first panel.
