A communication apparatus, comprising a processor, the processor is configured to, when executing the programming instructions, enable the communication apparatus to:

• determine M pieces of association information associated with one task, wherein the M pieces of association information are associated with N service network elements, one piece of association information in the M pieces of association information is associated with one service network element in the N service network elements, an Ith piece of association information in the M pieces of association information comprises an Ith service function list and an Ith piece of indication information, the Ith service function list comprises at least one service function provided by a service network element associated with the Ith piece of association information for the task, the Ith piece of indication information indicates the service network element associated with the Ith piece of association information to send data to a service network element associated with an (I+1)th piece of association information, the data is obtained by processing, based on the Ith service function list, the task by the service network element associated with the Ith piece of association information, an Mth piece of association information in the M pieces of association information comprises an Mth service function list, the Mth service function list comprises at least one service function provided by a service network element associated with the Mth piece of association information in the N service network elements for the task, M is a positive integer greater than 1, I is a positive integer less than M, and N is a positive integer equal to or less than M;
• and
• send the M pieces of association information to the N service network elements.
