Abstract
A vehicle lamp having a light guide and light guide emitting a light blade, two opposite large walls, an elongated thin exit face, a reflective surface opposite the exit face, and a plurality of coupling locations for receiving light sources on one of the side walls. A plurality of collimators is arranged at the coupling locations for collecting light emitted by light sources and directing collimated beams towards the reflective surface. The reflective surface is configured to focalize the reflected rays in a focal region located upstream the exit face.
Claims10
A light guide for a lamp assembly, comprising:
- side walls, two of side walls being two opposite large walls,
- an elongated thin exit face,
- a reflective surface opposite the exit face,
- a plurality of coupling locations for receiving light sources on one of the side walls, and
- a plurality of collimators at the coupling locations, each of the collimators being arranged for collecting light emitted by a light source and directing a collimated beam towards the reflective surface, wherein the reflective surface is configured to focalize reflected rays in a focal region located upstream of the exit face.
