Abstract
A modular accessory system for an armor carrier includes an elongated main body with opposing boundary ends and a pattern of spaced-apart apertures. An accessory, configured as a connection device with at least one attachment fitting, is sized to engage the apertures. The accessory is slidable along the length of the elongated main body by selective engagement with the apertures, which adjusts the distance between the opposing ends and thereby changes the effective wearable length or circumference of the accessory system.
Claims11
A modular accessory system, comprising:
- a main body having a thickness and including a plurality of spaced-apart apertures that pass through the thickness of the main body;
- and
- an accessory configured as a connection device having at least one attachment fitting sized and configured to engage the spaced-apart apertures, the accessory being slidable along a length of the main body by selective engagement with the spaced-apart apertures;
- wherein selective positioning of the accessory along the length of the main body changes an effective wearable length of the main body.
A modular accessory system, comprising:
- an elongated main body having parallel horizontal boundaries delimiting upper and lower bounds and opposing boundary ends delimiting side ends;
- a plurality of spaced-apart apertures disposed on the elongated main body in a pattern configuration and passing through a thickness of the elongated main body;
- and an accessory configured as a connection device having at least one attachment fitting sized and configured to engage the spaced-apart apertures;
- wherein the accessory is slidable along the length of the elongated main body by selective engagement with the spaced-apart apertures to adjust a distance between the opposing boundary ends and thereby change an effective wearable length of the elongated main body.
