Abstract
Fully human monoclonal Abs includes (i) an antigen-binding variable region that exhibits very high binding affinity for IL-1α and (ii) a constant region that is effective at both activating the complement system though C1q binding and binding to several different Fc receptors.
Claims2
A set of isolated nucleic acids comprising a first nucleic acid encoding the light chain of a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α), and a second nucleic acid encoding the heavy chain of a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human IL-1α, wherein the first nucleic acid encodes a CDR having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:3, a CDR having the amino acid sequence WAS, and a CDR having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:5, and the second amino acid encodes a CDR having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:6, a CDR having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:7, and a CDR having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:8.
