- displaying an external environment of a vehicle in response to an initiation of a gear shift;
- detecting, by one or more sensors of a sensor suite, one or more hazards within a distance-related threshold from the vehicle;
- and
- displaying a hazard visualization corresponding to a location of the one or more hazards in response to detecting the one or more hazards.

A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that are executable by the processor, wherein the instructions include:
- displaying an external environment of a vehicle in response to an initiation of a gear shift;
- detecting, by one or more sensors of a sensor suite, one or more hazards within a distance-related threshold from the vehicle;
- and
- displaying a hazard visualization corresponding to a location of the one or more hazards in response to detecting the one or more hazards.

A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that are executable by the processor, wherein the instructions include:
- displaying an external environment of a vehicle in response to an initiation of a gear shift;
- detecting, by one or more sensors of a sensor suite, one or more hazards within a distance-related threshold from the vehicle;
- highlighting, in response to detecting the one or more hazards, an area associated with a location of the one or more hazards via a panoramic view of the vehicle;
- and
- transmitting, in response to detecting the one or more hazards, one or more alerts, wherein the one or more alerts include one or more visual alerts, one or more auditory alerts, one or more haptic alerts, or a combination thereof.
