Laundry treating apparatus

A laundry treatment apparatus comprising:

• a cabinet;
• a tub disposed in the cabinet to store water;
• a drum rotatably disposed in the tub so as to receive laundry;
• a top cover coupled to an upper portion of the cabinet and having an introduction port through which the laundry is introduced;
• a door rotatably coupled to the top cover and configured to open and close the introduction port;
• and
• a detergent supply portion provided at the top cover and configured to receive detergent therein and to supply the detergent to the tub,
• wherein the detergent supply portion comprises:
• a mounting portion disposed behind the door or the introduction port and configured to receive the detergent therein and to supply the detergent to the tub;
• and
• a detergent container configured to receive therein the detergent supplied to the mounting portion and detachably provided at the mounting portion in a width direction of the top cover, and
• wherein the mounting portion comprises:
• a mounting groove configured to receive a lower portion of the detergent container therein and to guide movement of the detergent container;
• and
• a restriction surface projecting from an inner side or an end of the mounting groove and detachably coupled to the detergent container,
• a communication portion disposed on the restriction surface to be supplied with detergent, and
• wherein the mounting groove is provided that one end at which the restriction surface is provided is deeper than another end which is spaced apart from the restriction surface.
