Abstract
An embodiment includes a polymer composition comprising a thermoplastic polymer that: (a) is bonded to iodine, (b) includes a vinyl group, and (c) includes urethane linkages. Other embodiments are described herein.
Claims7
A polymer composition comprising:
- an unsaturated double bond;
- urethane linkages;
- a backbone that includes polymerized monomers, the polymerized monomers including one or more of:
- (a) 5-amino-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalic acid (ATIPA), (b) diatrizoic acid, (c) triiodophenol, (d) iothalmic acid, or (e) combinations thereof;
- wherein the polymer composition is a thermoplastic.
