A vehicle start-up support method executed by a computer, including:

• detecting an operation of a user of a vehicle with respect to the vehicle prior to start-up of the vehicle;
• and
• performing a predetermined notification to the user when detecting, as the operation of the user, an operation different from a start-up method of the vehicle that is selectively set from among a plurality of operation methods a predetermined number of times.

A non-transitory recording medium having recorded thereon a computer program, the computer program causing a computer to:

• detect an operation of a user of a vehicle with respect to the vehicle prior to start-up of the vehicle;
• and
• perform a predetermined notification to the user when detecting, as the operation of the user, an operation different from a start-up method of the vehicle that is selectively set from among a plurality of operation methods a predetermined number of times.
