Abstract
A vacuum bag for a vacuum cleaner assembly includes a porous container and a collar. The collar is connected to the porous container. The collar includes an opening in communication with an interior of the porous container. A first retention member is connected to the collar. The first retention member is a magnet or a ferromagnetic material.

A vacuum bag for a vacuum cleaner assembly, comprising:
- a porous container,
- a collar connected to the porous container, the collar including an opening in communication with an interior of the porous container;
- and
- a first retention member connected to the collar, the first retention member being a magnet or a ferromagnetic material.

A vacuum cleaner assembly, comprising:
- a vacuum cleaner body including
- an attachment assembly including a first retention member connected thereto;
- and
- a vacuum bag removably connected to the attachment assembly, the vacuum bag including
- a porous container;
- a collar connected to the porous container;
- and
- a second retention member connected to the collar,
- the second retention member being configured to contact the first retention member to secure the vacuum bag to the attachment assembly of the vacuum cleaner body, and
- the first retention member being one of a magnet and a ferromagnetic material, and the second retention member being one of a magnet and a ferromagnetic material, at least one of the first retention member and the second retention member being a magnet to magnetically attract the other of the first retention member and the second retention member to secure the vacuum bag to the attachment assembly of the vacuum cleaner body.
