Gesture-based control for interacting with vehicles while wearing a head-wearable device, and systems and methods of use thereof

A system, comprising:

• a head-wearable device including one or more cameras;
• a vehicle system;
• and
• one or more processors, the one or more processors configured to:
• while the head-wearable device is worn by a user and communicatively coupled with the vehicle system:
• detect, based on data from one or more sensors, a first hand gesture performed by the user;
• in accordance with a determination, based on the one or more cameras of the head-wearable device, that a first device of the vehicle system is within a field of view of the user when the first hand gesture is performed, provide instructions to the vehicle system to cause performance of a first vehicle-control action at the first device of the vehicle system;
• detect, based on data from the one or more sensors, a second hand gesture, distinct from the first hand gesture, performed by the user;
• and
• in accordance with a determination that a second device of the vehicle system, distinct from the first device, is within the field of view of the user when the second hand gesture is performed, provide instructions to the vehicle system to cause performance of a second vehicle-control action, distinct from the first vehicle-control action, at the second device of the vehicle system.

A method, comprising:

• while a head-wearable device is worn by a user and communicatively coupled with a vehicle system:
• detecting, based on data from one or more sensors, a first hand gesture performed by the user;
• in accordance with a determination, based on one or more cameras of the head-wearable device, that a first device of the vehicle system is within a field of view of the user when the first hand gesture is performed, providing instructions to the vehicle system to cause performance of a first vehicle-control action at the first device of the vehicle system;
• detecting, based on data from the one or more sensors, a second hand gesture, distinct from the first hand gesture, performed by the user;
• and
• in accordance with a determination that a second device of the vehicle system, distinct from the first device, is within the field of view of the user when the second hand gesture is performed, providing instructions to the vehicle system to cause performance of a second vehicle-control action, distinct from the first vehicle-control action, at the second device of the vehicle system.
