A system, comprising:
- a chamber component of an internal combustion engine, wherein the chamber component comprises a front face configured to face a cylinder head in a mounted state of the chamber component;
- and
- a scraper gasket coupled to the chamber component, wherein the scraper gasket comprises:
- a scraper portion configured to scrape off deposits from a lateral side of a reciprocating piston;
- and
- a gasket portion coupled to the scraper portion and configured to extend beyond the front face of the chamber component in a direction of the cylinder head to seal with the cylinder head.
