The present invention provides a composition containing a hexafluoropropene trimer represented by C9F18, wherein the composition is usable as a replacement for a heat transfer fluid containing at least one selected from the group consisting of perfluorotripropylamine, perfluoropolyether, and a methoxytridecafluoroheptene isomer mixture.

A composition containing a hexafluoropropene trimer represented by C9F18, wherein the composition is usable as a replacement for a heat transfer fluid containing at least one selected from the group consisting of perfluorotripropylamine, perfluoropolyether, and a methoxytridecafluoroheptene isomer mixture.
A composition for heat transfer fluid, comprising:
- a hexafluoropropene trimer represented by C9F18;
- and
- at least one selected from the group consisting of perfluorotripropylamine, perfluoropolyether, and a methoxytridecafluoroheptene isomer mixture.
Use of a hexafluoropropene trimer represented by C9F18 as a replacement for a heat transfer fluid containing at least one selected from the group consisting of perfluorotripropylamine, perfluoropolyether, and a methoxytridecafluoroheptene isomer mixture.
