Abstract
Disclosed is a fertilizer containing a mixture containing calcium ammonium phosphate (CaNH4PO4), calcium nitrate (Ca(NO3)2), and ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4). Methods of making and using the fertilizer are also disclosed.
Claims20
A fertilizer composition comprising calcium ammonium phosphate (CaNH4PO4), calcium nitrate (Ca(NO3)2), and ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) wherein:
- at least a portion of the ammonium sulfate and/or calcium nitrate is absorbed on the surface of the calcium ammonium phosphate;
- and/or
- at least a portion of the ammonium sulfate and/or calcium nitrate is encapsulated by the calcium ammonium phosphate.
