Abstract
A method of connecting one or more fittings to a composite tube includes induction heating the composite tube to its gel transition temperature, inserting a first fitting into a first end portion of the tube after the induction heating, and compressing the first end portion of the tube over the first fitting.

A method of connecting one or more fittings to a composite tube comprising:
- induction heating at least a portion of the composite tube to its gel transition temperature;
- inserting a first fitting into a first end portion of the tube after said induction heating;
- and
- compressing the first end portion of the tube over the first fitting.
