Abstract
Candidate molecules may be constituent components of various lipid nanoparticles. A C-glycoside glycolipid compound of formula (I): or formula (II): a lipid nanoparticle comprising the same, or a pharmaceutical composition, particularly a vaccine, which comprises the lipid nanoparticle.
Claims18
A C-glycoside glycolipid compound of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1 is H, a halogen, or a hydroxy,
- R2 is H, a hydroxy group that is optionally substituted, or a straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated C11-C15 alkyl group that is optionally substituted, the alkyl group optionally being interrupted by one or more ester bonds, amide bonds, and/or ether bonds,
- R3 is H, a straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated C11-C15 alkyl group that is optionally substituted, the alkyl group optionally being interrupted by one or more ester bonds, amide bonds, and/or ether bonds, an amino group that is optionally secondarily amidated, or a hydroxy group that is optionally alkylated or esterified,
- R4 is a straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated C11-C15 alkyl group that is optionally substituted, the alkyl group optionally being interrupted by one or more ester bonds, amide bonds, and/or ether bonds, an amino group that is optionally secondarily amidated, or a hydroxy group that is optionally alkylated or esterified,
- R5, R6, and R7 are independently H, or a sugar chain connected by glycosyl bonds,
- the wave lines each independently refer to a single stereochemistry of either S or R configuration when the bonded carbon is an asymmetric carbon atom, and
- the dotted lines each independently indicate the presence or absence of a bond, and refer to either the Z or E isomer when the bond exists as a double bond.
