Abstract

A graft releasing bell instrument includes a central shaft; a bell removably coupled to the central shaft; an inner blade coupled to the central shaft; and an outer blade coupled to the bell. A method of extracting a graft of cancellous bone includes inserting the graft releasing bell instrument into a cut of a bone; confirming a depth of the cut using a gradation scale on a side of the graft releasing bell instrument; rotating the graft releasing bell instrument to cut the cancellous bone; extracting the graft releasing bell instrument from the cut; and separating the graft from the graft releasing bell instrument.
