Abstract
There is provided a fluorine-containing ether compound represented by the following formula: wherein R3, R5 and R7 are the same perfluoropolyether chains or at least one thereof is different; R2, R4, R6 and R8 are each independently a divalent linking group having one or more polar groups; R1 and R9 are each independently an end group containing a tertiary amine, and represented by —X—NR10R11 (X is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R10 and R11 are the same or different aliphatic groups; and R10 and R11 may form a ring structure together with a nitrogen atom).
Claims19
A fluorine-containing ether compound represented by Formula (1) shown below:
- (in Formula (1), R3, R5 and R7 are the same perfluoropolyether chains or at least one thereof is different;
- R2, R4, R6 and R8 are each independently a divalent linking group having one or more polar groups;
- and R1 and R9 are each independently an end group containing a tertiary amine, and are represented by Formula (2) shown below)
- (in Formula (2), X is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms;
- R10 and R11 are the same or different aliphatic groups;
- and R10 and R11 may form a ring structure together with a nitrogen atom).
A magnetic recording medium in which at least a magnetic layer, a protective layer, and a lubricating layer are sequentially provided on a substrate,
- wherein the lubricating layer contains the fluorine-containing ether compound according to.
