Abstract
A pump apparatus configured to circulate liquid in a printhead configured to discharge the liquid includes a drive unit configured to circulate the liquid, and a control unit configured to control operation of the drive unit based on information related to vibration of the printhead such that the printhead does not resonate due to vibration of the operation of the drive unit.

A printing apparatus comprising:
- a printhead configured to include a circulation pump that circulates liquid in the printhead and a sensor that detects information relating to vibration of the printhead, and to discharge the liquid;
- and
- a controller configured to control an operation of the circulation pump based on the information relating to the vibration of the printhead.
A printing apparatus comprising:
- a printhead configured to include a circulation pump that circulates liquid in the printhead, and to discharge the liquid;
- an acceleration sensor;
- a carriage configured to carry the printhead and to scan in the main scanning direction;
- and
- a controller configured to control an operation of the circulation pump.
