Abstract
The invention relates to a system (1) for blocking an ophthalmic lens (2) with an insert (3), said system comprising:—a cover (10) forming a chamber, filled with a gas, in which the ophthalmic lens and the insert are bonded by a glue (4); and—a control unit (20) adapted to control an oxygen concentration of the gas while the glue is polymerizing.

System for blocking an ophthalmic lens with an insert, said system comprising:
- a cover forming a chamber, filled with a gas, in which the ophthalmic lens and the insert are bonded by a glue;
- and
- a control unit adapted to control an oxygen concentration of the gas while the glue is polymerizing.
Optical article comprising:
- an ophthalmic lens,
- an insert bonded by a glue to the ophthalmic lens,
- said glue being fully polymerized.
Method for blocking an ophthalmic lens with an insert comprising the steps of:
- placing the ophthalmic lens and the insert in a chamber filled with a gas,
- bonding the ophthalmic lens and the insert by a glue,
- controlling the oxygen concentration of the gas while the glue is polymerizing.
