Video playing method and apparatus, electronic device, and storage medium

An electronic device, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a memory;
• wherein the memory stores therein computer executable instructions;
• and
• the at least one processor executes the computer executable instructions stored in the memory to cause the at least one processor to:
• acquire an image;
• detect a target image in the image;
• determine a display position of the target image in the image;
• acquire a first target video associated with the target image, and play the first target video at the display position of the target image in the image;
• determine a corresponding playing area in the image according to the display position;
• and
• play the first target video according to the playing area.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, storing therein computer executable instructions which, when executed by a processor, implement the steps of:

• acquiring an image;
• detecting a target image in the image;
• determining a display position of the target image in the image;
• acquiring a first target video, and playing the first target video at the display position of the target image in the image;
• determining a corresponding playing area in the image according to the display position;
• and
• playing the first target video according to the playing area.
