Abstract
A terminal position verification method, performed by a terminal, includes: reporting global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position information to a network device; receiving configuration information; measuring a neighboring cell of a serving cell based on the configuration information; and sending a measurement result to the network device.
Claims23
A terminal position verification method, performed by a terminal, comprising:
- reporting global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position information to a network device;
- receiving configuration information;
- measuring a neighboring cell of a serving cell based on the configuration information;
- and
- sending a measurement result to the network device.
The method of claim 23, wherein measuring the neighboring cell of the serving cell according to the measurement configuration information, and obtaining the measurement value comprises:
- receiving, from the network device, an instruction for measuring the neighboring cell of the serving cell,
- triggering measuring, according to the measurement configuration information, of the neighboring cell of the serving cell, and
- obtaining the measurement value.
A terminal position verification method, performed by a network device, comprising:
- receiving global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position information reported by a terminal;
- sending configuration information to the terminal;
- receiving a measurement result sent by the terminal, wherein the measurement result is obtained by the terminal measuring a neighboring cell of a serving cell;
- and
- verifying, based on the measurement result, a reliability of the GNSS position information reported by the terminal.
