Abstract
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for using a continuous conveyor belt. One of the systems includes a conveyor belt adapted to move a plurality of comestibles and having i) a first edge, ii) a second edge opposite the first edge, iii) a first row of apertures that is substantially parallel to the first edge, and iv) a second row of apertures that is substantially parallel to the second edge.

A comestible processing system comprising:
- a support frame;
- a conveyor belt coupled to the support frame and adapted to move a plurality of comestibles through a processing component in the comestible processing system, the conveyer belt comprising a receiving end adapted to receive comestibles onto the conveyer belt and a discharge end adapted to discharge comestibles from the conveyer belt;
- and
- a wire i) coupled to the support frame toward the discharge end of the conveyer belt, and ii) adapted to separate comestibles from the conveyor belt as comestibles are discharged from the conveyer belt.

A method comprising:
- rotating, using one or more rollers coupled to a support frame and a comestible conveyor belt that comprises a receiving end adapted to receive comestibles onto the conveyor belt and a discharge end adapted to discharge comestibles from the conveyer belt, the comestible conveyor belt to move one or more comestibles on the conveyor belt toward the discharge end;
- and
- separating, using a wire coupled to the support frame toward the discharge end of the conveyor belt, at least some of the one or more comestibles from the conveyor belt as comestibles are discharged from the conveyer belt onto a downstream component.
