Treatment of internal spaces using plasma generating device

A medical grade plasma generating device comprising:

• a probe, sized for insertion to a selected portion of a body lumen and having a plasma-generating distal tip comprising a discharge electrode and one or more apertures through which ionization gas flows;
• a plurality of deployable structures through at least one of which the probe extends;
• the plurality of deployable structures being sized and positioned to inflate within the selected portion of the body lumen, sealing the one or more apertures between them and defining a luminal space therebetween;
• wherein the distal tip of the probe including the discharge electrode is configured to be positioned in between the plurality of deployable structures within the luminal space and generate plasma therein, such that at least a first deployable structure is positioned proximally to the one or more apertures and at least a second deployable structures is positioned distally to the one or more apertures.
