Saw cart

A system comprising:

• a cut-off saw including a support surface at a forward end and a cavity at a rearward end opposite the forward end;
• and
• a cart including
• a saw retention system configured to support the saw on the cart, the saw retention system including
• a front latch having a support surface configured to engage the support surface of the saw, and
• a rear latch assembly including a hook movable to engage the cavity of the saw, the hook moveable between a first position, in which the hook is disengaged from the cavity of the saw, and a second position, in which the hook is engaged with the cavity of the saw.

A saw retention system for supporting a cut-off saw on a cart, the saw retention system comprising:

• a support bracket configured to support the saw on the cart;
• a front latch configured to engage a front portion of the saw;
• and
• a rear latch assembly including a hook movable to engage a rear portion of the saw, the hook moveable linearly between a first position, in which the hook is disengaged from the saw to facilitate installation or removal of the saw from the cart, and a second position, in which the hook is engaged with the saw to retain the saw on the support bracket.
