Abstract

The invention relates to a bumper arrangement for a motor vehicle, comprising a cross member extending in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle, wherein the cross member is designed as an open hollow profile in cross section, and a towing sleeve is arranged at least in sections within the hollow profile, wherein a reinforcement plate is arranged within the hollow profile and is connected to the cross member and the towing sleeve. The towing sleeve is connected to the cross member, wherein the reinforcement plate is oriented substantially perpendicular to the X-Y motor vehicle plane and obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the towing sleeve, wherein a section of the reinforcement plate is adapted to an outer contour of the towing sleeve and runs at least in sections along the outer contour.
