Mobile motorized folding table

A table assembly comprising:

• a first table section;
• a second table section hingedly connected to the first table section, the first table section and the second table section movable about a hinge axis between a folded position and an unfolded position;
• an actuator coupled to the first table section and the second table section, the actuator including a motor that is electrically operable (i) in a first direction to cause the actuator to expand and move the table assembly toward the folded position and (ii) in a second direction to cause the actuator to contract and move the table assembly toward the unfolded position;
• wherein the actuator includes a switching device operable to adjust operation of the motor between operating in the first direction and operating in the second direction;
• and
• an enclosure that accommodates the switching device.

A table assembly comprising:

• a first table section;
• a second table section hingedly connected to the first table section, the first table section and the second table section movable about a hinge axis between a folded position and an unfolded position;
• wherein the first table section and the second table section are horizontally oriented in the unfolded position, and the first table section and the second table section are disposed at an angle relative to one another in the folded position;
• an actuator coupled to the first table section and the second table section, the actuator operable (i) in a first direction to move the table assembly toward the folded position and (ii) in a second direction to move the table assembly toward the unfolded position;
• wherein the actuator includes a motor operable to move the actuator in the first direction and in the second direction and a switching device operable to adjust operation of the actuator between operating in the first direction and operating in the second direction;
• and
• an enclosure that accommodates the switching device and a rechargeable battery providing an electrical power source for the motor, the rechargeable battery removably disposed within the enclosure.
