Beamforming/Cross Talk Removal/Echo Cancelation/Noise Reduction

A method, comprising:

• wirelessly receiving, at first and second speaker assemblies, signals representing left and right audio channels from each of first and second sources;
• using the signals, simultaneously playing, on both speaker assemblies, at least two of:
• music, computer game audio, computer chat audio, and speech picked up by at least one speaker microphone;
• and
• beamforming, and/or implementing echo cancelation, and/or implementing noise reduction on signals from the at least one speaker microphone.

An apparatus comprising:

• at least a first speaker configured to receive wireless signals from first and second sources, the wireless signals from each source representing stereo audio;
• and
• circuitry in the speaker configured to:
• mix the stereo audio from the first and second sources into local and remote channels;
• split the local channel into high and low bands;
• play the high and low bands respectively on a tweeter and a woofer of the first speaker;
• and
• implement, on signals from at least one microphone on the first speaker, beamforming, and/or echo cancelation, and/or noise reduction.
