Abstract
A pharmaceutical composition for treating an ischemic tissue, comprising: a core component and a matrix component, wherein the core component includes a thrombolytic drug and the matrix component includes a hyaluronan or derivative thereof, the matrix component having a viscosity greater than 10 mPa·s.

A pharmaceutical composition for treating an ischemic tissue, comprising:
- a core component and a matrix component, wherein the core component includes a thrombolytic drug and the matrix component includes a hyaluronan or derivative thereof, the pharmaceutical composition having a viscosity greater than 10 mPa·s and up to 10000 mPa·s.
A method of treating an ischemic tissue in a subject, comprising:
- administering a pharmaceutical composition directly to the ischemic tissue, provided that the pharmaceutical composition is not administered intravenously;
- wherein the pharmaceutical composition contains a core component and a matrix component, the core component including a thrombolytic drug and the matrix component including a hyaluronan or derivative thereof, and wherein the pharmaceutical composition has a viscosity greater than 10 mPa·s and up to 10000 mPa·s.
