Abstract
Provided is an oral composition, including the following components (A), (B), and (C): (A) 5 mass % to 20 mass % of a chlorogenic acid; (B) 0.001 mass % or more and less than 0.4 mass % of caffeine; and (C) 4-vinylguaiacol, wherein a mass ratio of the component (C) to the component (B), [(C)/(B)], is 3×10−4 or more and 1100×10−4 or less.
Claims18
An oral composition, comprising the following components (A), (B), and (C):
- (A) 5 mass % to 20 mass % of a chlorogenic acid;
- (B) 0.001 mass % to less than 0.4 mass % of caffeine;
- and
- (C) 4-vinylguaiacol,
- wherein a mass ratio of the component (C) to the component (B), [(C)/(B)], is from 3×10−4 to 1100×10−4.
A method of suppressing astringency of an oral product comprising 5 mass % to 20 mass % of (A) a chlorogenic acid and 0.001 mass % to less than 0.4 mass % of (B) caffeine, the method comprising:
- mixing (C) 4-vinylguaiacol with the oral product such that a mass ratio of (C) 4-vinylguaiacol to (B) caffeine, [(C)/(B)], of 3×104 to 1100×10−4 is obtained.
