Abstract
An electronic device includes a first transistor disposed on a substrate and including a first semiconductor pattern and a first gate, and a buffer layer. The buffer layer includes a first part overlapping the first semiconductor pattern in a plan view and having a first thickness, and a second part connected to the first part and having a second thickness, the second thickness and the first thickness being different from each other.

An electronic device comprising:
- a first transistor disposed on a substrate and including a first semiconductor pattern and a first gate;
- and
- a buffer layer,
- wherein the buffer layer includes:
- a first part overlapping the first semiconductor pattern in a plan view and having a first thickness;
- and
- a second part connected to the first part and having a second thickness, the second thickness and the first thickness being different from each other.

A method for manufacturing an electronic device, the method comprising:
- providing a substrate including a first area and a second area;
- forming lower conductive patterns on the substrate;
- forming an initial buffer layer covering the lower conductive patterns;
- forming a buffer layer by removing at least a portion of the initial buffer layer, which overlaps the first area in a plan view such that portions of the lower conductive patterns are exposed;
- forming a semiconductor pattern in the first area;
- and
- forming a gate overlapping the semiconductor pattern in a plan view.
