Terminal and communication method

A terminal comprising:

• a transmission unit configured to transmit, to a network, capability information related to whether or not a downlink control channel candidate of a second RAT (Radio Access Technology) including a resource element in which a reference signal of a first RAT is located can be received;
• and
• a control unit configured to monitor the downlink control channel candidate including the resource element in which the reference signal is located, when transmitting the capability information, wherein
• the capability information indicates that the downlink control channel candidate can be received even in a case where a plurality of patterns of the reference signal that do not overlap with each other in a frequency domain are configured in the terminal.

A communication method performed by a terminal, the communication method comprising:

• transmitting, to a network, capability information related to whether or not a downlink control channel candidate of a second RAT (Radio Access Technology) including a resource element in which a reference signal of a first RAT is located can be received;
• and
• monitoring the downlink control channel candidate including the resource element in which the reference signal is located, when transmitting the capability information, wherein
• the capability information indicates that the downlink control channel candidate can be received even in a case where a plurality of patterns of the reference signal that do not overlap with each other in a frequency domain are configured in the terminal.
